"I’ve been visiting the Clifton hotel since I was a teenager, originally with my parents, and over the decades have stayed on lots of trips and mini breaks! The latest custodians have done an amazing job in both refurbishment and conserving this classic old hotel!! They give you a walk welcome and are genuinely happy to see you. The breakfast was lovely every morning, plenty of options and choices Visited the Marco Pierre White steak house in the hotel as well and the food was perfectly cooked and service was superb Well done to the new owners it truly was a pleasure to visit you, we will definitely be back very soon "

"The room was spacious and comfortable, which we appreciated. However, unfortunately the lift was broken during our stay, and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs, which was quite inconvenient. Also, the carpet in the room had a very strong old/musty smell that made the room feel less fresh than expected. Overall, the hotel has potential, but these issues affected our experience."
