"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in dog and human hair. There was mould above the shower and dirt and mould under the sink. The areas around the toilets were soiled with rusted old urine splashes. "this hotel is in a great location, right on the seafront a couple of min walk from the pier and only a 5min walk from the town centre. the rooms are large, and well equipped with a table and chairs, dressing table, large double bed and wardrobe with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the room also. the downside is that the hotel could really do with having some investment, while everything worked in the room it is dated and somethings in need of repair/upgrading. the shower curtain for example only covered 3/4 of the shower so the floor got wet when used. the shower holder was difficult to adjust and missing a cover. while these art major problems they are little things that drop it from a 4star to a 3star stay in my opinion. All that said for the price I would definitely stay here again."
