Ballyskelly lodge - Private 3-bed lodge with spectacular views of Cromarty Firth

"This was the best place we stayed durning our 2 weeks in Scotland. Bill was there to wecome us to the lodge and gave us a tour of the lodge and instructions on how to operate stove and dishwasher. The lodge was beautiful, well stocked with everything we could need durning our stay. The view was so beautiful and we sat outside at night enjoying the quite, the views and the antics of the nest of baby birds under the eaves of the lodge. I would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay. When we visit Scotland again we will definitely stay here!!"
Seaside cottage by a sandy beach - dolphins, golf, near Inverness and Loch Ness

"We knew the property from the outside so was eager to book and visit. The 20min walk to watch the Bottle-nosed dolphins was our main attraction. The property is situated just yards from the beach. Parking for a car or 2 is by the property, the inside is very comfortable and tidy, a good kitchen with everything needed to survive the stay. Built in oven with hob and extractor. Plus a dishwasher and washing machine. Comfortable sofas in the lounge allow you to relax after a days exploring. With a decent size TV and a decent fridge, cold drinks were the order of the night. A dining table for 4 finishes off what needed. The main bedroom offers good storage and a very comfortable bed with bedside tables and power. The 2nd bedroom has a single bed. The bathroom has the toilet and a decent shower.We didn’t want for anything and if it’s not summer and you visit it’s fully central heated. Carol is a great host and answered any questions in good time. Plenty of facilities in the area and Dingwall for a large supermarket. A great place to stay."

"Spent a few days at Kestrel Longhouse and the cottage is totally adequate but maybe a little tired. However we enjoyed our stay and Kenneth is a lovely host."

"Finding the cottage was an issue. It would have been nice to receive instructions to continue along the road until a sign to the cottage is sighted. We were not aware that there are quite a few homes along the road on either side. It would also have been useful to have been told the door is unlocked & the key is on a hook inside the doorway. Otherwise we had no problems with the cottage finding it to be very well equipped."
