It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. "Gem of a find. This hotel is centrally located near Union Square and a short walk to lots of attractions, including the cable car line right out front. Also has wonderful, accommodating staff. Where the hotel runs into trouble is the clientele - in today's society, people have misinterpreted that spending money entitles them to do whatever they want. This is a misinterpretation! The hotel guests were often ill-mannered, rude, loud, and inconsiderate. Do be prepared for your experience to vastly depend on who is on the other side of the wall. Instead of being able to enjoy an affordable, well-located, well run hotel, there are always those that have to take it as permission to do whatever they want. Can't fault the hotel, but do be aware of what you might get. "
