It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. "We stayed at this property for three nights in mid July 2026. The property was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The property was close too many restaurants and shops. There is no parking on site. However, parking is available about 5 to 10 minute walk from the property. We were a little disappointed with the pool access. There could only be four people at a time at the indoor pool and had to make reservations well in advance to get a decent timeslot. The outdoor pool was a 5 km drive which was not convenient at all. If you are looking for a place to stay and don’t really want to pull access, this property has a lot of character."

"Our family of five enjoyed our time at the property very much. The rooms were comfortable and the surrounding area is beautiful. The pool is a huge plus to cool down and have a relaxing time. The Rignano train station nearby makes it easy to get around Italy, by connecting to Florence’s main station. Truly an asset. The A1 highway is also nearby connecting you within easy access to beautiful Tuscany. Restaurants in the area were very good also. I would definitely stay again at Vila Il Palagio."
