"No coffee in room...had to go to a room off the lobby. No breakfast included but there was a really expensive restaurant in the lobby. Great location and the staff was friendly and helpful."

"The hotel makes a lot of money, especially with how much they charge per day, as well as their $80 per day parking. *Most* of the staff was friendly, except for the host at check in who made me feel stupid for not knowing that the pool was across the street, and not even in our hotel, which I overlooked. Who knew that one of the hotel’s amenities wasn’t even in the hotel? What? When I come up really nice and sweet I don’t need a stuck up snob telling me what to do. Especially when I only asked a simple question. Cheers to him though. But yeah, I’m not about to be in swim attire crossing the street in San Fran to a different hotel. The rooms were clean but nothing fancy. They were out of conditioner :( my fault I should’ve just brought my own. But the rooms were clean at least. The nicest person was the Asian lady custodian on level 6. She was really friendly and curteous. And all she said was hello but I could tell by her tone that she meant respect with great customer service, unlike the guy downstairs. Anyway, probably won’t stay here again anytime soon, nothing really around the hotel except for old businesses and closed up shops. The surrounding areas are dirty and full of homeless people. Almost stepped in human waste. Tip: find parking elsewhere. Also I try not to be bitter and have been in customer service, but I spent so much money on this so I expected better in return. $16 for a breakfast sandwich. No thanks."

"The self-serve coffee machine in the lobby guaranteed that I would be able to get a cup of coffee, anytime I wanted it. While it wasn’t the best cup of coffee that I ever had, it did the trick when no coffee shops were open. There were other settings on the machine for espresso, cappuccino, etc. How many times have you stayed in an hotel where the in-room coffee maker wouldn’t work? This machine in the lobby was really a nice touch. There was a nice selection of tea and cookies, too. But give me the coffee."
