"I was very disappointed with my stay at The Hills Residence. Upon arrival, it was immediately apparent that the room had not been properly cleaned. The overall condition of the room was underwhelming and did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The walls throughout the room were heavily scuffed and marked, giving the space a worn and neglected appearance. The rug was dirty and covered with sand, the floors were sticky, and several of the couch pillows were visibly stained and unclean. Additionally, the window linens were filthy, and the glass windows themselves were covered with dirt and smudges, making the room feel even less inviting. The refrigerator had a strong, unpleasant odor, which raised further concerns about the cleanliness and upkeep of the unit. This made it uncomfortable to store food and added to the overall negative experience. For the price and expectations of the property, I anticipated a much cleaner and better-maintained environment. Cleanliness is one of the most important aspects of any stay, and unfortunately, this property fell far short of that standard. I hope management addresses these issues to improve the experience for future guests."

"Eight days in paradise!Our stay at Villa Del Mar was absolutely amazing. The villa was spotless and very well stocked with most of the amenities needed. The owner Michael was readily accessible when needed and checked in with us throughout our stay. The view on the back patio was breathtaking and really stole the show. The location was very close to many restaurants and other excursion pick up points. We couldn't have asked for a better property to stay at and if we were to come to St. Maarten in the future, we would absolutely pick this villa again!"

"My wife and I had a great time and spent most of our time by the pool. Kitchen is big with everything you need. Close to the Simpson bay strip and 15 mins from the Maho beach shops and restaurants. If anything was needed, Michael responded promptly and they also helped with recommendations for cabs if u need that."

"The location of the house was easily accessible to most of the island with a car or taxi. It is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The home is spacious and everyone was able to relax without feeling crowded. The host was easily accessible and quick to respond to any issues which is always a good thing. The kitchen was stocked with what you need to cook a decent meal. The suggestion for private chef was superb and we enjoyed our meal. We did not have an issue with the AC or water temperature during our stay. The WiFi worked well!!! The outside shower in the master suite was a nice touch. I’d recommend the space to anyone who comes to visit the island."
