"Great hotel, easy walk from the station. Had a lovey balcony room, looking straight out onto the church (bells do not ring all night!). The reception staff knew we were only staying one night and gave some really good suggestions for what to look at, and a fantastic recommendation for a tasty, local evening meal. The room was clean and homely, with a really comfortable bed after a long day of travel by train."

"First off I found it to be good value for money considering what most other hotels were charging for the same nights that I stayed. Location is very handy for the station next door making a day trip to Monaco very easy indeed. It is also walkable (15/20 mins) to the tram 2 stop for the airport tram. The immediate surroundings are a bit sketchy but I arrived at night and walked from the tram stop and it was actually all fine. There are some questionable people hanging about/shouting etc at times. Unfortunately the room was stiflingly hot, even in mid October. Even with the aircon set to -3 (yes minus 3!!!) and on high, this made no difference. I found it hard to sleep, as with the window open with all the street noise, and the air con on full it was noisy. Also, there is no way to dim the air con control panel which is really bright so it’s like sleeping with a light on in the room. Ear plugs and eye masks definitely needed. The bathroom was small but the shower was good and hot. The room was minimalist and small. You get what you pay for. I didn’t try the breakfast or the bar so can’t comment. The one staff member I did speak to at check in and check out was very friendly and chatty which made a good first impression. Despite the mixed review for the price I think it was all ok and I would return."

"The room was spacious and clean. The mini fridge and coffee machine/kettle were a great perk. I stayed in an oceanfront room and was able to enjoy the view and the breeze. The street noise was loud so I wasn’t able to leave it open while sleeping, but with the windows closed and curtains drawn I wasn’t able to hear any noise."

"The hotel was a great location to any and everything I needed while in Nice. It’s a short walk to trams, subway, and the regional train. The property was extremely well-kept and clean. Upon arrival, the staff was very polite, accommodating, and communicative. The manager, Elody, was fantastic. If I have to include a negative, I’d say I wish there were more items on site for purchase (such as drinks or snacks) after breakfast hours."
