"Staff was lovely. So quiet! We walked to dinner and though it felt perfectly safe they sent a security guard along with us who then returned for our walk home. "We stayed four-nights in May 2025 at Casa Equatreasures. My family occupied three rooms. The hotel location is near good restaurants and cultural attractions, and also walkable to the San Francisco subway station. The neighborhood felt very safe to us (3 women, 2 men). "This is an incredibly charming hotel. Each room is creatively and uniquely decorated. The staff treated us like family, calling us by our first names each time they saw us. Breakfast is wonderful, as is the customer service. There was not a single thing that wasn't first rate. "This is a lovely little hotel with a very welcoming feel and great staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the food (breakfast and dinner) in the cosy restaurant was excellent. The decor is designed to celebrate the cultural heritage of Ecuador and the whole layout is very attractive. The availability of complimentary fresh fruit in the sitting room area was a nice touch.
