The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. This hotel is very generous in terms of taking of customers, free drinks in room mini bar, coffee, espresso, apples, waters in the lobby, make one feel so much like home. LOVE this hotel!! The moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the hotel manager and staff. The service was wonderful, our suite was very nicely appointed, with gorgeous views of the lake. The beds and linens were ultra cozy and luxurious. The hotel was convenient located, and offered a beautiful free breakfast buffet in their gorgeous dining room. There seemed to be a pleasant and unexpected surprise around every corner with a fresh interpretation of old meets new. Would highly recommend...

The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff here were absolutely above and beyond. They were so kind and understanding id stay here again and highly recommend then hotel to anyone staying in the area. Also extremely Clean and very close walk to lots of amazing things.

This was the best customer service I've ever had at a hotel; the female night manager helped arrange our parking, carried most of our suitcases, and even helped us buy bus tickets - at the bus stop! While there were a few details, like too much road noise and the tv not working (could care less), the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made it a very enjoyable stay. Would stay again in heartbeat.

I loved the views and that we had access to amazing grocery store (similar to Whole Foods) with a 15 minute walk (it’s moderate intensity to walk as some of it is uphill.) loved the huge rooms , even with the kitchen and all the amenities of an apartment and of course the balcony!

Make sure to go right next to the apartment to check in! There's a big sign that says San Carlo Hotel - you check in there for the apartment. Clean, big, has AC, very close to everything. Very good for the price.

This is not a luxury hotel but it was very clean and comfortable. I slept better in this property than any of the 4-4 star hotels over the past 10 days! Very basic amenities. A wonderful stay for a fair price!

Location is excelente! Nice big room, comfy bed and nice hand soap. I went in summer with my husband and 2 kids. I was a little hesitant about paying the deposit thru link after learning that many scammers work that way, but it was the only way since it is a self check in. They do send instructions of everything with steps to enter the room. The key to the room is modern, thankfully my 19 year old got us in quite fast. This was one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in in my life- and I have travelled a lot! Often when you rent a place, upon arrival you discover that the photos were taken at a misleading angle, or that something about the place is not really as nice as it was spelled out to be.
