Excellent way to enjoy extended stay and visit Mpunt Aetna

Beautiful views and very responsive staff.The only thing we did not like was leaving to return home.

The staff was wonderful. They even met us at the square and navigated our car up into their parking area. They just went over and above doing anything they could for us! The cottage was roomy, decorated nicely and super clean. The staff brought us anything we needed and even let me know when the spa was ready after it went down for 15 minutes. The views from the cottage were superb- from the terraces all the way out to the sea, and the garden with it's citrus and vegetables draped everywhere....

Our stay at Medousa Suites was wonderful. It is located right outside of the main entrance to Corso Umberto/Main Street through Taormina making it a prime location. The room had a beautiful balcony with views of the water and Mt.Etna. The room itself was clean, bed was comfy, and we had a very nice coffee machine. Staff were great! We had a great experience at this hotel! The hotel is a few blocks off of the main walking street, but that ensures that it is quiet at night. You can exit the hotel through their back garden and walk down some steps to easily access the main walking area. The property is located in the most perfect location right in the middle of the Main Street in Taormina. It is easy to access with your luggage after your taxi drops you off at the main area (ask them to drop you off at “Porto Catania”. Then it’s straight down the Main Street about 150 ft. The 24/7 concierge was amazing! The staff were really helpful and answered any questions you had and were happy to book reservations to make your day trips as pleasant as possible. The complimentary breakfast every morning was fresh, hearty, and delicious - mad world to order eggs/omelets and coffee!

Property and room were clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet and staff were excellent. Only problem was banging noises late at night from the room above. Also, stairs at entrance can be a problem for handicapped people. Thank you.

Palazzo Vecchio Taormina is an amazing hotel! It is a Palazzo that has been wonderfully and tastefully renovated. My room had an incredible view of the sea and the bells from an old church nearby. This hotel is an excellent base for exploring Taormina. It's inside the walls, near shops and restaurants (although on the opposite side of town from the Roman amphitheater). The service was excellent and friendly. The breakfasts, served on a rooftop with a commanding view, were outstanding - pretty much anything you might want, including eggs cooked to order. We booked a room in the Rock annex. It was an entire, fully equipped apartment. The Rock annex is located across the street and down about one block from the main hotel. To be honest, other than doing the initial checkin and a walk around, we never went to the main hotel building. The pool is located there and there is a small bar.
