"I loved this property and will stay again! There was 4 of us and we stayed for 6 nights. The staff were amazing- kind attentive genuinely helpful. The room was quite clean beautiful and bright with a view overlooking the sea. The breakfast was basic but good and the dinner was delicious. We went out most days nights because we wanted to see the surrounding area. "This is a great, easily accessible hotel just off the main strip. You're back in a gated part of the city, so can be a little tricky to find, but the room was clean and accessible, the location is ideally situated (super close to shops and restaurants, but quiet at night) and the staff could not have been nicer. Really nice stay."

"We have found our new paradise. What an incredible location – here we could fully enjoy the sea and the tranquility. We stayed for 2 nights / 3 days and didn’t leave the hotel grounds even once, as everything we needed was right there. The food and drinks were excellent. Minus: The rooms are a bit worn, and the mattress was extremely hard so we did not sleep well"

"The hotel is very conveniently located right near the cable car down to the beach. Also, right near the main attraction of Taoromina which is the uptown area for shopping and restaurants. Well, it’s right in the middle of everything you want to see you do have to deal with the traffic and parking. The rooms however, were soundproof and we slept very well. The spa was quiet and peaceful and we had a wonderful experience."

"Views from the hotel and the surrounding area are just fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. The pool is very good. Breakfasts are good. Parking tricky like most of Italy. Bed and pillows ok but not great. Used buses and taxis to access nearby Taormina and Castelmola further up the hill."

"To start, the property is dated and that much is apparent from the photos so this review is on the basis that the dated decor and slightly out of dated facilities is already known. The pros - the view is unbelievable, of the town and Mount Etna on one side and the bay on the other. The position is also excellent, being opposite the Florence Trevelyn park (which adds to the view). The staff are very friendly especially the barman and cleaners. "Overall a great stay for the price. Saying it’s a 4 star hotel is a bit of a stretch. There was a tiny hole in the ceiling and water damage on some of the floor but the balcony with a view was great. The beach is fantastic and the breakfast is great. Everything gets charged to your room onsite so lunch, dinner, drinks, snacks which is really nice."

"Hotel is amazing, so many antiques and curiosity’s to look at. Very much old fashioned style. Stunning views, quiet location. Book an Etna view room as away from the road. Lots of choice for breakfast and the hotel restaurant just up the road, La Caverna is wonderful. From the pool, reception and the restaurant staff I really can’t fault them. This really is a wonderful hotel. A short walk up a hill is Castelmola for beautiful shops bars and lovely for a drink in the evening. Bus stop outside...
