"Property was very clean and the food was excellent but for the most part the staff was not very polite felt like a bother to them and most could not speak English and very hard to communicate with.But when we needed help from the customer service staff they were all excellent to speak to and always had a smile on there faces .Our room had a none working hair dryer and couldn't find the TV remote for the life of me anywhere.And problem was resolved immediately. Nightly entertainment was good on most nights especially the Michael Jackson show and Circus show.Loved the sports bar where I could watch my beloved Montreal Canadiens games while I was on vacation and always had all kinds of food to eat.Never spent time at the pools but they looked very spacious and had all kinds of chairs. The beach was beautiful and you could walk for miles in either direction and all kinds of chairs to lounge on.The seaweed was plentiful but was not a issue for me and was cleaned up on most days.As for the drinks at the bar they always had what I was looking for.And when it came to night time there was only 1 evening that I saw and bugs or mosquitoes and it was on the minimal side. OUR ROOM WAS SPACIOUS BUT ALWAYS DAMP AND OUR CLOTHES ALSO BUT WE JUST USED THE HAIR DRYER TO DRY OUT ."

"El staff no era amable, solo cuando te querían vender algo, fuimos a una cena que reservamos y duraron 1 hora 15 minutos en tomarnos la orden y dijeron que era por que “estaban llenos” siendo que no habíamos más de 4 mesas."

"Booked with Expedia so check-in & check out was great, assigned a wonderful concierge named Emmanuel who used WhatsApp to communicate & stay on top of things for us. We were granted sun club privileges free thru Expedia which was nice. We only ate once at windows buffet & it was awful as far as breakfast choices, service & they ran out of plates! Most other restaurants were adequate. We found the language barrier quite high as a lot of staff didn't speak English. Music extremely loud at the pool & forget getting to the swim up bar as people parked there & stayed preventing others from getting up to order. Worst thing was our toilet leaked & wouldn't flush properly many times. They even gave us a new toilet & the problem still existed. Took 3 hours for them to respond to our pleas to fix it our last morning. Two out of three beds were comfortable. AC worked great. Safe in room was nice. Drinks at Sun Club were excellent but limited in choices. No elevators was a bummer as well so limited our room choice. Beach was nice. Free use of paddle boards & kayaks. Enjoyed the Latin Show at outdoor theatre. Cecelia was great at getting us dinner reservations. Pizza/hamburger place always had cold french fries sadly. Didn't particularly like having to brush teeth & make coffee with bottled water but they made sure you always had plenty of bottled water. Our deluxe suite didn't have privacy for shower so we had to hang up a sheet which is a major flaw!"

"Bakour resort, Punta Cana • Be aware that most the good reviews are requested by the staff going around asking people to do good reviews favoring them. • This is a GHOST resort, don’t waste your money on this place. This resort not even has a beach because is occupied by docked boats (the water smells diesel and nobody goes there) the few people that stays in Bakour has to walk 1/2 mile and use Serenade resort beach. • Most of staff not even know how to make a mix drink (very often run out products to make the drinks) • Water Pool sucks! They don’t treat the water and the chairs don’t have umbrelas. • Had to change room because the A/C was not working, and the front door was falling apart • NO ENTERTAINMENT AT ALL • Buffet/restaurant always running out of food and juices, and very poor in variety of food. • If you ask for an espresso coffee with a shot of liquor they don’t serve it. They only serve coffee with a drop of alcohol. Some employees mot even serve you the espresso with the drop of alcohol (you have to pay for it). • Today is my 3rd day with diarrhea, and i am not the only one. • Staff is a 3 star employee no more than that for sure. • Room is pretty clean and bed is excellent. • NO HOT WATER. If you take a shower water is more on cold side. I did Complaint already 2 times and still without hot water to take a shower. • Buffets/a la carte dinners are always made from left overs from the previous day. "
