"Clean, quiet, and convenient."

"I liked the quietness of the location. I didn't like the steep driveway which my car could only get one time. You need a 4 wheel drive probably. Also, i couldn't sleep in the bed because the cabin had stairs that were 12 inches or more. They were not uniform heights either. Most importantly, you could not stand up in the bedroom as it wasn't a true A frame (I'm 5'2"). "

"If you're looking for a quiet place to stay within driving distance to beautiful mountains and scenery this place is perfect. Everything was clean including the nice warm hot tub and the hostess was easy to communicate with. We were only able to stay the one night but can't wait to go back. "

"The cabin was excellent, the property still had storm damage which is understandable and expected. My grandson and I enjoyed a wonderful day of fishing with the nearby DB Bar D Outfitters just 5 minutes from cabin. The weather was excellent, the inside of the cabin is beautifully finished and our guide Mike all helped make a trip a memorable one. Our hearts go out to the people in this area of NC that have been through so much since Hurricane Helene. "

"Relaxing on the deck, great views, beautiful cabin. Loved the use of the gas grill and the great kitchen. Long drive up the mountain but well worth it. "

"This little cottage is only 60 miles from home so very convenient for our short 3-night stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The surrounding property is bright with wild flowers. The cows and donkey's across the creek were our entertainment. We will return."
