"Blake and Susan's cabin is beautiful, comfy, cozy and rustic (but with all the modern amenities). You really feel like you're out there in the wilderness - we saw a family of deer right outside our window. It is convenient to everything! RMNP entrance is close and easy to get to and town is within walking distance. Also you can see the Stanley Hotel from the cabin! (Which means it too is within walking distance.) "We loved staying in this historic home during our trip to Colorado Springs. The casita and extra bedroom were perfect for our small family. The architecture is impressive. Both spaces are well designed. Caren was kind, professional and helpful with emails. Check-in/out procedures were clear. We feel privileged to have stayed in her home. The fenced yard was helpful since we brought our small dog. Everything was first class. We look forward to returning."

"Old in heritage and decor. Was welcomed with very friendly staff, instant upgrade. At first glance very nice but the more you look around this place needs a deep cleaning and upgrade in decor. Old shower curtain, stained lamp shades, built up dust behind the bed and main carpets in the halls are stained with dirt. If you can look past that the stay was enjoyable. "

"We stayed here back in 2018. We were excited to have a chance to stay again in May of 2024. Excellent room. Huge bathroom. Plenty of room. This was the last night of a two week vacation. We were at a different hotel every night. This room was the best one for the entire trip. "

"This was a nice hotel with nice amenities. All my “complaints” are small things. Ex: more pillows and/or king size pillows for king rooms. Put the in-room waters in the fridge. Have a lil throw blanket for the lounge chair. Make the restaurant available for room service the market is mid. "
