"I appreciated having a place to stay for 5 days. I was in town for a funeral. We upgraded to a cabin from a standard king room due to space. It was rustic and cute, and provided a safe place for us to sleep. The entire property is really pretty, and it’s great that this is a pet-friendly lodge! Safe Place to Stay during a tough time
"I appreciated having a place to stay for 5 days. I was in town for a funeral. We upgraded to a cabin from a standard king room due to space. It was rustic and cute, and provided a safe place for us to sleep. The entire property is really pretty, and it’s great that this is a pet-friendly lodge! This message is more for the new company that owns Elkhorn Lodge: I sincerely hope you put earnest investment into this lodge. There is SO much potential there. Along with that, it would behoove you to treat—and pay— the manager/employees well. I imagine it is hard to find help in Chama because the population has decreased drastically, but what few you have will be running and representing Elkhorn, and it’s best to take care of them; as well as the property. The property needs some TLC but it is well worth it! "
