"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

"The cabin was clean, views were great. Missed proximity to water as hubby wanted to fish. Proximity to Cherokee and Bryson city was spot on. Only drawback was cabin was pet friendly and area also but neighbors let their Rottweilers out unleashed during walk stating 'they live here' which was unsettling as any visitors may feel targeted and uncomfortable."
