Previously, location has been it's only plus point, though I am happy to say that on this occasion, everything was improved, including restaurant food quality, service throughout the hotel and ambience. "I love staying at Wildes Chesterfield, the staff are fantastic and can’t do enough to make sure my stay is wonderful. I admire Liam, one of the managers, he works hard to ensure that everything is just as it should be and he remembers people and their needs. My room was very clean, the pillows and bed were so comfy, it was lovely and warm in my room. The breakfast is fantastic. When I stay at Wildes I get a chance to rest and relax in a beautiful room and I love it. Thank you to Liam and his well lead team of kind, friendly and helpful staff."

"We have stayed at this hotel many times when visiting family and are always so impressed by the friendly helpful staff at reception. The hotel is always very clean and the rooms are large with an enormous bed! Breakfast is excellent too. "

"We only stayed one night as we were up to visit our pup for the first time. We had no serious negatives about the hotel with the only exception to a bit more character in the room. Our room was a spacious double, which was clean with a very large, comfortable kingsize. We did book a table in the restaurant and the food was extremely good. It is a shame it wasn’t as busy as we expected, specially as it was 5 days to Xmas. If you stay, I would recommend the restaurant. The food and service was very good. Breakfast did the trick for us! Overall, we will be staying again in mid January and if it was not that good, we would have stayed elsewhere. Worth noting, if you are at the far end of the hotel, it will be worth checking out the stairs downstairs before the main staircase as they are shortcuts to the bar and restaurant. "

"Really nice room, large for the price. TV is always top notch to use and internet speeds decent enough for streaming and working. Only thing I felt was lacking was breakfast. After seeing how great the hotel looks in all other areas I expected a breakfast on the same level but it felt very underwhelming. Wasn’t much selection but good enough to fill yourself up. "
