"The room I stayed in was good. Nothing really impressive, but it served my purpose. I was a lil miffed that I could not drive out from one of their 2 entrances/ exit into the parking lot, in that there were several orange cones blocking the entrance. That entrance needs to be paved; alot of work needs to be done. Their inground pool structure is pretty much destroyed & ALOT of work needs to be done to it. I asked if they have ice.... they do not have it on hand. I asked for water, I was told I can go to the nearest gas station & buy it. I doubt very much I will stay there again when visiting in Chicago."

"My stay was overall pleasant and convenient, especially with the reliable and punctual airport shuttle service. However, the hotel is starting to show its age, with the carpets looking quite worn in some areas. It was a good experience. I would rebook. Thank you."

"It’s not the best and it’s not the worst. You got everything you need in the room basically. You probably won’t find parking by your room at night it gets pretty filled up, but other than that I’d probably stay here again. Just some of the stuff is old like the TV and the bath tub had like rust stains on it, but other than that everything was good."

Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Chicago Midway Airport

"As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I appreciated the special recognition and treatment during my stay. The staff was welcoming, and the overall experience was positive. My only concern was the parking fee. At $30 per night, I found it quite expensive, especially since there is enough parking available within the hotel complex. I was told the fee was introduced because, due to the hotel's proximity to Midway Airport, some travelers had historically left their vehicles there instead of using airport parking. However, the hotel already provides dashboard parking permits to guests, which could be used to distinguish authorized hotel guests from unauthorized vehicles. Enforcing parking based on those permits would seem like a more reasonable approach than charging all guests a significant nightly parking fee."

Motel 6 - Chicago, IL

"This motel 6 is exactly what you pay for. It’s definitely for saving a buck—thin bed sheets and messy landowner special in the rooms being paint and stain jobs, etc. that being said, it had good space and decent location for a 1/4th of the price of hotels in downtown Chicago. We came for a wedding. The property is gated in which gives a safer feel especially in leaving your cars and they don’t enter the rooms during your stay unless requested so you’ll have privacy."

Holiday Inn Chicago – Midway Airport S by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"All in all great stay for the price. We were in town for the taste of Chicago. About 20 mins from downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and as described. Plenty of parking on site. The restaurant that is connected was also great. Good drinks. The lemon drops were top tier! I did not do the breakfast option. I felt it was a little pricey for hotel breakfast. (My opinion)."

"I love the accommodations and how close it was to the airport and the shuttle schedule. The fitness room equipment was simple but effective. The breakfast was good. However, I did not like the traffic sounds I could hear at night."
