Amazing stop for us. Absolutely splendid hotel with wonderful grounds! Our boys loved the outdoor grounds for exploring and playing soccer (football). Stayed here in a family room (5 of us)--plenty of space, overlooking pool. Wonderful service and attention. Convenient for our visits to Avebury and Bath.

It’s more of a charming quiet calm hotel in the countryside. My only issue was that the carpet had tons of large stains on it, which was rather gross and I’d expect a hotel to have a vacuum cleaner that can take stains out of the carpet. My second issue was there was no chair or desk in the room. I didn’t care that the tv only had 4 channels- all the other...

The inn was beautiful. The location is perfect. It is right outside Bath, next to the horse racecourse.
The room was nearly brand new which was both good and bad. The good was it was spotless and well maintained. The bad was the radiator wasn’t working the first night so my son was shivering all night. Im not going to knock the rating down because the staff tried their best to fix it.
The breakfast was delicious. We loved every dish. We also ate dinner there twice and had a lovely meal.
