The George was a great place to stay, dog friendly and all the staff were great and very welcoming and helpful. Although they don’t serve food in the evening, they were very accommodating, being very happy for us to bring a takeaway back to the dinning room to eat there. The breakfast was also excellent as were the staff waiting on!!.

This was a beautiful property. The surrounding area was picturebook. We had a very good meal and a good, comfortable sleep.
My only issue is the roads were very difficult getting there, so I could not recommend to a tourist with no experience with the narrow roads and remote location.

It was a wonderful, yet too brief, one night stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our meal in the informal dining/pub options was nourishing and delicious. The room was clean, large, and bright. We were able to get a room facing back garden and with views. A big pot of tea and a freshly pressed coffee were very nice at breakfast. Local walks on the moor, and to the quarry & rocks and were fab.

We've been in England for 16 days and stayed at 9 Hotels/BB's. Silverton Inn by far wins for the best bedding ever. We've stayed from budget to Castle Luxury. I never knew what I was missing. The most amazing B&B I have stayed at. Their home is gorgeous, Caroline the host is fantastic. Bed was great, fresh milk at night so you can have tea in your room before breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic and had everything you could desire. What a view with a lovely old church right across the street. Highlight of places we have stayed in our 17 day holiday.
