"If you want a no thrills family getaway then this is the place for you. The room was very basic with no amenities apart from 2 showers and a separate toilet with a wash basin which was located in the main room. The beds consisted of bunk style beds which were built into the walls and looked really cool if not very dusty. Bed linen was provided which was clean but the duvets and pillows could have been replaced as we're showing signs of age. It is advertised as having a cafe and a shop for buying...

"On arrival,place looked deralict,shown to our room by owner,garden room.freezing cold no heating on.smelt musty curtains full of mould,felt damp,floor hadn't been sweet,full of bits fluff rug in front of door filthy,told lady room cold arrived at 2 went out at 5 ,15 heating still off.got back at 930 room warm.but heating off.went to bed heating never came back on...next morning had breakfast.excellent.could not fault it .still no heating..left at 9 30.for home..would never return.not...

"Tucked away, this farmhouse is just superb! Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower was the most powerful I’ve ever enjoyed! Kirsty and Neil are good hosts, ready to offer recommendations if asked, but will leave you to yourselves if you prefer. They keep pigs and chickens, which we were lucky enough to feed, and I can report that the sausages, bacon & eggs at breakfast were very tasty! Added bonus of homemade cakes left out, delicious!
