"Spectacular house, facilities & view. The property is 3 stories vertical, stairs are difficult to negotiate. My wife & I are in our mid-70's I had to use a walking stick. My wife had to use the steep driveway & typically required assistance. This is not part of the description. This did not affect the younger crowd.We are a group of 14, it never felt cramped. There are large areas to eat, play games etc. Several of us are accomplished cooks, the kitchen has everything one needs to make great meals for large groups. The refrigerator is huge. All the appliances are electric. This matters because the grid on St. Johns is not dependably but there's a diesel which we used often. WIFI worked well which is important because I did not have any cell signal, a couple others did. I communicated with the host via text & the VRBO site. Michael was always responsive, quick to resolve all issues. All the stores & beaches require a vehicle to access. We had 3 SUV's; good thing since I could not call for a taxi. "

"This is a beautiful property with a breathtaking view. It looks brand new and comes fully stcked with everything you would need, and emily the property manager was great. Make sure you are repared for the remoteness of this cabin. You absolutely will need a car you will have to practically beg taxi drvers to take you there. There are almost 5 flights of stairs down to the cabin from the driveway and if something goes wrong (power goes out or flat tire) you are very far away from help. With all that being said if you are prepared and adventurous it will be an incredible experience"

"Everything about our stay was stellar. The driving at night was definitely a challenge, but well worth it. The owner truly created his own personal paradise with great intention to share his vision with his guests. There were so many special amenities and unique touches such as a greeter, welcome snacks, a fully stocked bar as well as kitchen spices, a stocked refrigerator with cold drinks and more. A true Chef’s Kitchen for “Foodies” like us! From the kitchen to the bathroom to the pool area and beautiful tropical gardens around the house you felt like you were embraced by loving arms the minute you entered the villa. With that said, you also have the added bonus of amazing views from all sides of Villa. The craftsmanship and outdoor wrap around deck were incredible. We definitely recommend Carmel by the Sea! Just a short drive from Cruz Bay. It was wonderful to be away from the crowds in a true tropical paradise!"

"We recently stayed at this charming cottage and had a wonderful experience. This is our third stay on this property. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcomed. This cottage is beautifully maintained, cozy and thoughtfully decorated. The living area is warm and inviting -perfect for unwinding in the evenings as is the porch area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed making it easy to prepare meals. The bedroom is comfortable & quiet and we slept well. Everything was spotlessly, clean and well organized. We especially appreciated the peaceful outdoor space with all of the unique plants of the area. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch with the beautiful view. It really felt like a private retreat away from the noise of every day life back in New Hampshire. Tina and Joe are friendly and responsive. They have attention to detail and made sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, this is the perfect getaway and we will happily return next year. Highly recommend this place to others."

"Our family has been coming to St John for 5 yrs. Cloud 9 was our favorite! The views are unmatched! The patio was so pleasant… beautiful pool & hot tub, hummingbird feeder (so fun watching them), and many relaxing seating options… the swing chair! The house was wonderfully equipped and comfortable. Perfect space for families to come together but to also have space. Things to note … the switchbacks are serious going up that mountain. We are used to them by now though. Also what you’d consider the kids bedroom is in the main house . The other bedrooms are outside of the main house. But there’s a door that can be locked to the property. Our boys are teens, so it was fine.Overall the pictures lived up to the reality. I could have stayed forever. Thank you!!!"

"The house was as advertised. Great views across the property. The upper & lower units were very comfortable and well equipped. A few minor issues were quickly answered, communicated and remedied. One of the best properties we have stayed in of the many we have rented across the Island. "
