"The staff was amazing and made the stay 5 stars. The surrounding area wasn’t great (lots of homeless, bodily waste, and drug paraphernalia), but food, shopping, public transportation, walkability were great if you don’t mind having to get through quite a lot of homeless for a few blocks. "

"There were ants entering through the bathroom window, a booger on the ceiling, a large gap underneath the front door to the room (which the maintenance man did attempt to remediate with some limited success, although sunlight remained visible underneath the door), and zero soap in the shampoo and body wash containers in the shower for my first night. The staff were very pleasant and made every effort to remediate the cleanliness issues upon notification, but the room itself was way below par and extremely frustrating."

"False advertising - that’s not a breakfast. Also bar is “closed for the season”?? Not sure what season would be appropriate but SF seemed incredibly busy."

"My room #308 Bath sink is off the wall. Faucet handle wiggles alot. Closet door does not close cabinet in the way. Paint falling off the roof. Carpet is 20 years old. Workout room is absolutely horrible. Handles on the equipment are disgusting with layers if sweat and hand dirt. Equipment needs heavy cleaning. Room is covered in dust, hasn't been cleaned in years."
