"The pics of the hotel are from a time when the hotel was “younger”. Its lobby is well worn. The “sister” hotel across the street is run down also and even though the website mentions a restaurant located at theirs, it does not exist!

"I stayed at the Mayflower during a conference because SF was sold out. I travel a lot for business and stay at marriotts. The online reviews prepared me well - this is an old building with a single person at the desk, old elevator, and very basic amenities. If you are good with that (and I love old buildings and don’t rely on hotels toiletries) then this is a comfortable stay - and I’m glad I took the chance to be near Moscone.
