newly renovated. it is too high tech. we need to use the iPad for almost everything. very stressful. unfortunate because we are going to relax. the tiffin room staff are very inexperienced and forgetful of the orders. the new breakfast system is not easy to use. we order something hot and then we must cater to ourselves. we expect full service from an hotel such as Raffles. the writers bar is completely new and we miss the atmosphere of the old bar.

We booked the Prestige Room with a harbor view and lounge services. So far, the lounge is the best I’ve experienced. The staff are friendly, the food quality is excellent, and the room is well soundproofed and impeccably clean.

I always love a Fairmont- wonderful room with a comfortable bed, robe & slippers, & amenities like a well-appointed gym. This one in particular has a fantastic location attached to a high-end mall with tons of food options, an MRT stop, and across the street from one of the hop on-hop off bus stops. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Feels very luxurious and it was breathtaking. Walkable to fine dining, restaurants and main attractions. I would definitely stay here again!

All necessary things are furnished and prepared especially a landry machine is buld in, and all things kichen related are ready to use. Very nice for saying more than 5 days in Singapore. Breakfast is served complimentary except Sunday. Room cleaning/linen refreshing are not avilalbe on Sunday either. This is only thing I feel if it would be better. The Carleton is my #1 choice when in Singapore The value and location is my main reasons for choosing the Carleton over all other hotels in the area. The Raffles Hotel, Chines and Raffles City mall is literally a walk across the street. We were put for three nights at the Ritz Carlton millennium because of the overbooking at the Capitol Kempinski. Wonderful and convenient hotel. Very helpful and responsive team at front desk. Outstanding location - centrally located with easy access to most places via public transit and / or walk. Located above a mall with fantastic food options.

Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. The room was small and it became tight with two people and all our luggage. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. Only complaint was that the bar in the lobby was never open. Mr. Sng who helped us with our luggage was fantastic. Brought it down for us and stored it before going to the airport and helped us arrange airport transport.

The staff was very helpful and always helped us book a taxi when we needed it. They were even able to book a large taxi to accommodate all our luggage when we checked out and were headed to the airport. We also had a super late check-in when we first arrived (around 0200) and had no issues checking in. Everything went smoothly.
