"For some unknown reason this place was already rated "excellent" whereas there was no previous reviews. So I felt a little bit manipulated as this place without being bad was way overrated. Although the place is generally clean, it nis not maintained properly. Some stuffs need some fixing. The room I stayed in for almost 10 days had suffered water leakage in the wall which resulted in traces on the wall which has not been redone or even painted. The mattress is definitely not comfortable &...
"Great place to stay when visiting Cartagena though it is outside the city. Extremely affordable and great place for the price. Safe place to stay, breakfast was fantastic, entire place was kept very clean, pool was very nice, and friendly staff. Highly recommend."
"Breakfast was always delicious, and the coffee is amazing. Staff went out of their way to help us out, and Leo and Alba gave great advice on where to go and what to do. You can order tours of the Rosario Islands through the hotel.
I got used to the cold water showers quickly."

"The staff was excellent, the food at the hotel was better than some of the food out in town. The hotel was beautiful and clean. I loved the amenities. Great hotel.!8 would recommend "
"Great hotel! Clean, stylish, comfortable, convenient location and super professional and friendly staff. I have nothing bad at all to say about my stay. I would definitely stay here on my next visit. Two things.... the front desk manager with the high puff hairstyle is absolutely gorgeous! The only thing I didn't like was that the hotel does not use/have washcloths. Breakfast was included with my room, but be sure to order things exactly how you want if you are not used to the Colombian way to cook certain items. Overall the breakfast food was not bad and the restaurant manager was VERY NICE and accommodating. I was pleasantly please that a good number of the staff was bilingual. Easy checkin. Room was very spacious. Easy walk to both the Walled City as well as Gethsemane. It was a nice long and hot walk, but we actually walked up to the CARTEGENA sign on the beach in the heat! However we took a taxi back. But that's to let you know it's doable. I definitely recommend MOOD for anyone visiting. The rate we got was amazing as well. THANK YOU! "

As a female solo travel, they made my birthday stay be on of the best one!!! They even sang happy bday for breakfast with a pastry ,Please don't look no further book here!!! Hasta luego Cartagena I sure will back staying here again!! "
"The team was very welcoming and helpful, Daniel was amazing checking in my daughter and her boyfriend, their 1st time in Cartagena and gave my husband and I very important important information while checking us out! At the restaurant, Shirley was an outstanding waitress!! Overall a great experience. One of our recommendations is for the Hyatt to invest on replacing the rooms’s refrigerators as they just don’t work…we were at a Hyatt earlier this year in Cancun, MX and unfortunately experienced the same problem."
"it is better than advertised.
A brutalist design, that is clean, simple and welcoming.
The only downside, is the food service takes a long time.
Definitely on my list to return
