"My husband and I travel internationally often and not are easily impressed. This boutique hotel is lovely, charming and very clean. Breakfast was wonderful! The front desk staff was friendly & helpful - thank you, Roberto, Francesca and Monica!!! We’ve got a traffic ticket and they helped us to deal with that. "The hotel is much more of a 3 star than a 4 star. The price reflects that so it’s a good value for Cortina. The location is great, very convenient to town and the bus to the lifts. The rooms are quite small and pretty basic. The breakfast is just adequate and the only fruit available each day was a bowl of unripe kiwis. The lobby area is large and comfortable but an eclectic mix of furniture. "

"I recently spent much of the month of July traveling through Italy. Of the 8 hotels we stayed at, Hotel Pontechiesa was the only disappointment. Pros: Our room was clean and the hotel is within walking distance of downtown Cortina. Cons: 1) Breakfast seating is assigned. In our case, we were seated next to a family with two coughing children.
