"The hotel was well appointed and comfortable. However, there were real signs of wear and tear. The window in our room had a defective latch that wouldn’t close and we had to have Maintenance come and fix it otherwise the large window would have been open to the breeze. We also noticed that many of the outlets in the room were loose and wiggly. Otherwise, the lounge and restaurant were comfortable. A word about the food in the restaurant. The quality of dishes we had were somewhat sub par. The appetizer of Caprese Salad was made with a nice pesto oil however they used cherry tomatoes which one would have expected better in Italy. It seemed overpriced at 13 Euros. The chef must have forgotten the seafood in our Seafood Risotto. The breakfast buffet required an additional room charge but was excellent."

"Rooms were clean. We had a balcony that overlooked small canal. Easy walk from water bus station for convienance. Offered free trip to Murrano by water taxi - good luck getting back. Just beware. Breakfast was extra but very good. Not too far to walk to St Marks Square 10 to 15 minutes. Nicely decorated - nice hotel."

"Nice rooms. Located very close to the Trian station and why I booked this location. However, the location of the hotel is in a run down area of the city. Lots of homeless. Dirty streets. Didn't feel too safe at night walking around. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby that was fantastic. I would book the location again due to the location right across from the train station. We took that to Venice island and to Florence. Parking is a block away and wasn't really guarded. Be careful walking from that location at night."
