"Great area, close to train station, quiet location, quaint,... Our only suggestion would be to have somewhere to place our luggage instead of floor and it supplies breakfast but would not let us take a something as we were leaving prior to 8am breakfast to catch our train. Overall, we would return."

"The check-in process was ok and the room was decent. The only problem was that the room had an air conditioner, but no remote was included. No one answered the phone when I called to inquire about getting a remote at around 5:30 in the evening. As it is hot in Venice, that could be a real problem for a lot of guests. Luckily it was not in the dead of summer. Overall, it was ok. "

"The location was fine, safe and quiet. Other than that very disappointed. When I arrived after hours found my key in the coded key box following the instructions. However the towels left on my bed were damp. Room and toilet very small but this is maybe normal for Venice. Only 2 pillows provided and they were very flat and hard. The place is badly in need of a makeover. The bathroom was grungy, mould on the tiles. Shower stall was tiny and the shower fixture was falling off the wall. The...

"I enjoyed my stay at Splendid at Venice. It was probably the only hotel my family enjoyed in Italy! Super convenient to the main areas in Venice. Staff was super friendly and let us check in early. Also called taxis for us. The hotel also has its own water stop, which is great if you are taxing a water taxi to hotel. "
