"The BeachDreamInn was the perfect place to spend a week in the Outer Banks! The house was a good size for our family. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area and all the outdoor seating areas! Beach chairs, umbrella, and other necessities were an added bonus! Looking forward to booking again for next year!"

"The hostess was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the open concept of the house as well as the huge dining room table! Strangly, there was no dvd player in the house but a great collection of dvds! The hostess did specify only a starter pack of toiletries provided and we brought more toilet paper and paper towels. But there was no soap by the sinks provided or garbage bags other than the ones in the trash cans. So bring some! Eileen did bring us 2 garbage bags when we messaged her as we had just gotten back from the store to get soap."

"We stayed at Spin 1 over Labor Day Week and had a wonderful vacation. The property is truly beautiful and has so much to offer. The property had the quintessential OBX feel and perfectly captured the coastal charm of the Outer Banks. It felt "cozier" than other houses we've stayed at and we felt right at home. The walk to the beach is a breeze - less than a 5 minute walk. We brought our kids bikes and they rode to the beach, there is a bike rack at the beach access. The gated community is very small, and the private beach access was very quiet - we were the only ones at the beach every day. The pool was wonderful for our kids, and the 1 acre property was perfect for our dogs (an added bonus that the property was pet friendly!). We can't wait to stay here again!"
Blue Crab Cottage: Private Pool, Hot Tub, Dogs OK

"We rented Blue Crab Cottage for our first family vacation with our 7 month old. The house was great, with a great downstairs area. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and cooking gadgets. All the bedrooms are spacious and quiet. We spent a lot of time in the fenced in pool area, which was a perfect size for our family. For those traveling with more people, it may be on the smaller side, but the community also has pools that are easily accessible. The location of the house is also awesome. You are definitely within walking distance to a few restaurants, coffee shops, seafood market and wine bar! There is a trolley stop close to the house to get to the beach, but it also wouldn’t be a bad walk if you have a beach wagon for supplies.This is a great house if you are looking for something a little more tucked away, but with easy access to shopping and all the amenities the community offers."

"The house was in a fantastic location with views of both the ocean and the sound from the top level (kitchen and small front balcony). We could tell it was a well-loved home.Some beds were comfortable, others not so much. The kitchen could stand a refresh with utensils, pots and pans (all scratched up and wobbly), and coffee mugs - we were 12 people and there were 9 mugs. There appeared to be black mold around some windows and doors on the top level. Some sliding doors didn't work well and allowed bugs in (we had massive numbers of mosquitos and spiders coming in). The decks had virtually no furniture and the back top deck has a lot of boards that need replacing. We had a few issues when we arrived - a clogged sink and mid-level AC was not working. The rental company was fast to respond and got us up and running quickly. The primary issue for the AC was the outdoor unit was completely covered in vines and had to be cleared off - something to pay closer attention to in the future.For the issues the house had, it wasn't worth the cost. We've had much nicer, dog-friendly properties for less. But, the location was great."

"This was a great house! Perfect for our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers). The house had a great layout with two screened porches, one with a hammock and swinging love seat overlooking the pool and another overlooking the Sound and the sunset. The house was well equipped with beach chairs, games, and a ping pong table. The trolley stop at the end of the driveway was incredibly convenient, The added bonus was being walking distance to the Duck Donuts for fresh, hot donuts in the morning! We are looking to returning again next year!"

"We had a wonderful stay in Corolla from August 6 to August 13! The home was extremely clean, comfortable, and had everything our family needed for a great beach vacation. The amenities were excellent, and the pool was definitely one of the highlights. We spent plenty of time enjoying it when we weren’t at the beach.The house was well maintained, spacious, and had all the little things that made it feel like a home away from home. It was a perfect place for our family to relax, spend time together, and enjoy everything Corolla has to offer.We absolutely loved our stay and made some great memories here. We’re already looking forward to coming back in 2027! Highly recommend!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been to OBX with a multifamily group at least 5 times, and this was our best home yet! It was clean, new, spacious, and had all the expected amenities. Sonos was a nice touch."
