We had an incredible time at the Daintree Ecolodge! Our family reunited from different parts of the US to visit the Daintree area. The Daintree Ecolodge was a standout experience! Great property that is small and personable! They seem to have thought of it all as far as things to use at their facility. They have bikes, movies, games, umbrellas, beach chairs, games, towels and so much more. We just weren't there ling enough to us it all. They are also an easy walk to the beach, shopping, and a ton of restaurants.

Excellent stay all around! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, answering all my questions and helping book tours. The facilities were all clean and comfortable, and it was a perfect place to stay in Port Douglas.

My fiancé and I went here with minimal expectations, just looking for a getaway with close access to the Great Barrier Reef. This resort was beyond accommodating. The surpassed our expectations with amazing food, drinks, and service. They also provided us with transport to and from most any location and recommended awesome activities and onsite nature walks!

We had a nice stay in Cairns, which was involuntarily extended by 4 days when our flight to Guam was canceled due to Tropical Storm Vongfong bearing down on Guam. Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights ina 2 br. The apartments are spacious, nicely decorated and very well equipped. Every little comfort is thought of to make your stay pleasant. We appreciated the washer and dryer in the room. We truly loved eating breakfast on the verandah every morning while watching all the birds. Our stay at the Meridian was fantastic. John and Sue were so lovely and incredibly welcoming during our stay. The room was clean and super quiet. The laundry facility was really handy. But above all else, the location can't be beat. Right at the top of the main avenue, and two blocks from the beach / swimming area. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value for their time in Port Douglas.

Perfect for what we wanted, great location

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights at Tropical Nites and would highly recommend this property. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was great for us, as it is just a 10 minute walk to the beach and an enjoyable 15 minute walk to town. There was also easy free parking in town for the times we chose to drive. The managers were super helpful before and after our stay in giving us information and booking tours. We hope to be back one day!

We stayed for three nights over the Christmas holidays, the height of summer. We loved this resort, and our villa was amazing. Our daughter lived in the pool while my husband and I tried to get cool in the AC. Our complaints are similar to others here... the villa wasn't super clean when we checked in. It really just needed to be refreshed and swept. There were a lot of cobwebs and spiders/spider dirt in the corners and the floors were dirty.
