"Enjoyed the weekend getaway. Booked room through hotels.com and realized there was a concern with my reservation. Called toward the end of the evening and received nothing but amazing service! All interactions with staff were awesome. Room view was soothing. Beds were a bit stiff and noisy but tolerable. Only issue I had was the shower head. Wasnt able to take a shower due to the fact I was too tall (I'm 5'7). The showerhead pointed right at my chest and even lifting to the highest point, I wasnt able to wash my hair without doing some unthinkable positions. Overall... would stay again. "

"My daughter and I were visiting Lopez Island from Alabama. This was a WONDERFUL place to stay and the host was very helpful with places to see and eat on the island. Fresh granola and ground coffee was waiting for us in the cottage and refilled daily. We rented bikes and biked around the island. Great girls trip!!"

"Incredible stay at Lopez Island. The cabin and property were amazing. It’s better than the pictures and the house is right on the water overlooking the beach. Diane was a gracious host and made sure to check in to see if we needed anything. We had a great time exploring the beach and surrounding areas. The views are amazing and much of our time was spent simply enjoying looking out into the sound. There is wildlife everywhere. Small Island sits just off the shore and is frequented by a large number of seals and birds which we had a great time spotting. The location is great and you are about 5 minutes from the village if you need to grab a meal, stop at the market or visit some shops. Some of the better food we had was at the Vortex Cafe and Ursa Minor. Other than that we spent our time around the property taking walks and utilizing the grill to cook meals. The house had everything we needed to prepare some great meals. I would recommend a stay at Diane’s cabin if you are looking to for a relaxing weekend and wanting to spend some time in nature. We will surely be back as we loved our time on Lopez Island at Diane’s beautiful property. "

"This is a lovely little cottage close to Deception. It was perfect for us a we are traveling the Pacific Northwest. All clean with the necessities. We didn't hear a lot of traffic noise (a complaint of some, I guess).It was easy to make warm on a drizzly evening in May. We really liked it and the owner was friendly and respectful! Would definitely book again!"
