We drove ourselves to the meeting point, where Eid, the camp owner, greeted us with a huge smile and genuine hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. Before heading into the desert, he invited us into his home to relax over tea while showing us the different tour options — no pressure, just honest advice and care to make sure we chose exactly what we wanted. Our guides, Ata and Marwan, made the desert come alive for us. Their energy, humour, and stories added so much to the experience — and their photography skills were unbelievable! They captured some of our favourite photos from the trip, especially during the breathtaking sunset over the mountains, where the two of us watched the desert glow in complete peace. It felt like time stood still. Back at camp, Sayed had prepared a beautiful dinner that was bursting with flavour — easily one of the best meals we had in Jordan. We went to a restaurant in the adjacent resort, Westin. The grounds were stunning. Spending a couple of more nights there should be nicer. "
