We were very pleasantly surprised and impressed. They have done a spectacular job of restoring and decorating. All appointments and furnishings are upscale and first class. Everything is very modern and new. The location is in the middle of downtown and sits atop a very popular Bistro. The parking lot behind them hosts a farmers market every Saturday. Great location to stay and take advantage of the hiking options in the George Washington National Forest

Friendly staff, good location. Breakfast could have been better for the price. Scrambled eggs were dry. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

This was just an overnight stop on our way home but we enjoyed the hotel. It was recently renovated and was very nice, very clean. I like the laminate flooring in the room. (Hotel carpet can be questionable) We would stay there again.

Everyone went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable.

It was our second time staying at Grey Pine Lodge. We had a king room on the second floor. Everything was perfect - clean room, comfortable bed, no issues with the door lock like we had on the previous stay.

Very nice-staff helpful and nice as well. Good continental breakfast-only issue is turning on the shower -the door makes it impossible to not get wet. Poor design.

Buckhorn Inn is an absolute must for traveling through/staying around the Shenandoah, Blue Ridge & Staunton area! The owners maintain the historic beauty of the property while making it comfortable, accessible and cozy. The property’s history is fascinating and the location is convenient to hiking and downtown amenities. The owners even stayed late to ensure my partner and I got checked in safely. We can’t wait to visit again soon & see how the newly owned property continues to evolve! Hoping...

The property was amazing, beyond wonderful. Gracious host. High end furniture and bedding. The backyard and pool area were just beautiful !!! I wish I stayed earlier in the year so i could enjoy the pool. The property is surrounded by wide open farm lands, Starry skies, birds and crickets. It was a very relaxing stay. I wish I could stay longer !!!

The food was great! Only wish that they also had options for coffee or tea in the room and a gym. Otherwise the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. The location is terrific!
