"When we arrived at the hotel, the whole site smelled of sewage. The restaurant area, the grounds, the pool area. When we asked why they said the pipes had broke. But when we tried to get our monies back and leave there was no manager at the hotel. The desk person said the manager lives in Mexico. When even Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel to get a refund for us they coudln't get an answer. "

"This resort is truly amazing. It feels like an exotic experience like no other resorts. The mosaic patterns throughout the resort are so unique. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and treated like family especially by Melanie, Sandy and Gloria. The food was so fresh and delicious. I had a massage which was excellent! We highly recommend treating yourself to this wonderful Abeeza Resort and Spa!!"

We had the place to ourselves and the beautiful wildlife right on the river. Shanna and Kenny were wonderful and handled every aspect of our trip. The pool and bbq were fun! I would definitely stay here again. The family of Howler Monkeys with babies were my favorite part. Peaceful, serene, and in the jungle.

Amazing stay - we will definitely be back at The Bohemian Caye Caulker!
Our trip started off great when we were picked up from the boat by the host - such a thoughtful touch that made us feel welcome right away.
The property was exceptionally clean and well kept. The staff was amazing and very helpful with everything we needed. The pool area was my favorite - perfect place to relax!
It was a short visit this time, but we will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Palms for a night as Hurricane Beryl approached Belize. The property was lovely, but the best part was the wonderful staff- Angelee and Selvin were absolutely amazing! They helped us in a million ways, and always with great friendliness, even in the anxious hours before the storm arrived. Next time we go to Belize City, we'll definitely stay at the Palms!

The resort is located a 5-min boat ride away from San Pedro and the resort provided a boat service that was always available at 15-20 mins notice, and the boat captain was highly responsive and helpful, even showing us specific shops in San Pedro that we needed, so we didn't get lost. The housekeeping was excellent and attentive. The manager was highly communicative, proactive and responsive for all requests. Great small location north of the bridge if you want to stay away from the congestion of San Pedro town, but still be a close golf cart ride away. Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, great breakfast, and amazing morning sunrises.

I stayed for my birthday in February and I will say it’s safe, clean, and perfect for solo or plus one traveling! You’re about 10 minutes from the city but the owner has amazing recommendations for drivers, food options, and excursions that she helps with if you ask! If I come back to Belize definitely will be back!

The location is a short walk to the center of the city. Very quiet with a beautiful unobstructed view of the sea directly across the street……have a cup of coffee on the terrace and enjoy the breeze and sea.
The breakfast is really nice……. fresh fruit, eggs, mini pancakes and several other baked breads. Really good coffee.
Nicely appointed rooms with hot water and super thick, large and soft towels..
Ms.Deborah, the owner is super nice and can provide any information you may need to complete...

While San Pedro is not for beach lovers since the beach is not usable near this property, there are area attractions to take advantage of such as snorkeling, diving, and fishing. Spend an hour and you'll get to a beautiful beach either in Key Caulker or at the Secret Beach. Renting a golf cart is highly recommendable. This property puts you smack in the middle of where the locals are and Aileen, Randy and Alex are very accommodating. We had a great 2 bedroom apartment with a deck that had an...

This is an amazing Resort. Being our 4th trip to Belize, we have stayed at different places each time and this was our favorite so far. Amazing room and friendly staff! The only downside is, the lack of cart parking. I would recommend having staff park their scooters/motorcycles in a staff only parking area and leave the cart parking area for the guests.

Best vacation ever! A true home away from home at Playa de Sala from the moment I arrived with the staff greeting us, a welcome cocktail (that was inventive & delicious) and tour which led us to our beautiful room with AMAZING VIEWS! I stayed two weeks at Playa and loved every minute. The food from Salas kitchen is unparalleled on the island. I chose to eat all of my meals there after the 3rd day of bad food elsewhere. I was treated like family by the girls from Salas Kitchen when my tummy was...
