I honestly can't get over of how amazing our stay is at Il Melograno. The room we stayed in has a great view of the coast. The room is extremely cozy. What a way to have a drink in your hand, sitting in your own balcony and admiring the great view in front of you. Easy check-in and nicely appointed room, the bed was cozy and the shower was nice and hot. I didn't opt for breakfast but would probably recommend it, not too many places open in the morning around there, but plenty of bars and restaurants in the evening. Staff was super welcoming and gave me a glass of prosecco and potato chips on arrival, and speaking English was no problem for the staff I interacted with. Highly recommended!

Excellent place.

This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. The owner was so helpful making reservations for us to have rabbit at a local restaurant, it was delicious. The last day we were there he even found the herb used in the rabbit dish. This herb can only be found on this Island. Helped organize a day at the thermal spa,great place to visit. The breakfast were great, with jams and fruit out of his own garden.

The path winding through the cliffs to the small bar and lounge chairs along the water is very unique. Very small wading pool on upper terrace. Classic double room was small and non-descript. Disappointed with the size of balcony and the sea view from room!

Amazing stay, wish I had been there longer. Incredible views of the city and easy walkability. Staff was incredible and arranged ride transfers and luggage service for us. If you have never been to Positano there are a LOT of stairs so a taxi will not be able to drop you off at the front door- I would recommend either using a travel backpack for your luggage (as I did) or taking advantage of a luggage porter service (as I had to do for my wife haha). stayed at Agra ...it was great, actually Biagio and his staff were Great! --My arrival was after hours, around 11:30pm, so I reached out to Biagio (whom actually reached out prior asking if i needed anything before my arrival) to confirm someone would be there to check me into my room after hours. Biagio made sure someone was there, actually at the front door waiting for me, perfecto! -- He also arranged a driver to pick me up from the airport, which i said yes to... was easy, quick & hassle...

The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable. The service from all the staff whether it be registration, concierge, dining, pool, cleaning or spa wax consistently top notch. This is a fabulous property. The grounds are delightful. The breakfast spread was pleasing.

Very nice hotel. Great location, very clean, and the staff were helpful. The But…The only downside was the discotheque club located beneath the hotel. Opened at 11pm until 3am. The music bass was very noticeable. Have to imagine all low floor hotel rooms hear and feel this. The three of our phones sound apps were on high volume to try to washout music.
