It is a very amazing property. When you walk in the lobby is a bit outdated. But once you get into the guest room. It is amazingly clean. The staffs are all super friendly and the owners are amazing and very accommodating! Top notch!! Will definitely stay again if given the chance.

Private retreat nestled in the woods of Karuizawa! Wonderful host - very friendly and attentive. Our visit in June was right before their hydrangeas blossomed….i can imagine it would have been even more magical!

A 5 star experience in a wonderful wooded area of the city. Striking design and great ambience combined with top level amenities, excellent food and friendly staff make the stay at this hotel an experience that I will always remember. Get ready to be spoiled when staying at this hotel! Part of the amenities also includes plenty of parking and a free shuttle service to the train station.

I wanted to use the laundry. Coin Laundry is 20 minutes walk from the hotel.

Unbelievable service, excellent rooms. Everything was the utmost highest level in all facets.

This was our second time stay, and we loved everything. The breakfast was excellent, but one foreign stuff member's sleeve was too short and the bottom was undone. The staff were friendly, though a few foreign staff members had difficulty understanding my questions in Japanese. This hotel is excellent, that is why I believe the customers would expect them to speak Japanese language in native level otherwise it will affect the longtime hotel history. I hope the hotel continues its excellent...

We enjoyed this hotel during a brief getaway during the summer to escape the Tokyo heat. The hotel is located in a very nice location in old Karuizawa (Kyo-Karuizawa), close to many nice restaurants and little shops, while also being very quite. Rooms are very large and modern, the hotel has its own hot spring (onsen), and high speed internet is free. Very friendly staff and a large and tasty breakfast buffer. We definitely plan to visit again.

Appreciated the cleanliness, even a towel provided to wipe the wheels of your luggage to not drag dirt into your living space.
