"This ship is 90 years old. It has old world charm and that’s what you’re getting…an entirely different experience. Staff were incredibly nice and accommodating during our trip to celebrate our 30 year anniversary on the ship my grandfather sailed on during his return from WWII. The ship is a thing of beauty and we loved it. Be warned that it was a challenge to remain comfortable since A/C is not what we’re used to. "It is a gem if you enjoy historic buildings. It has been well preserved. It's very affordable, the room had a small bathroom so we had to get creative with our toiletries, but the bed was comfy., it had a fridge but no microwave in the room. They had one available by the ice machine that you could use. The staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee in the lobby would have been nice . There is a restaurant attached and seems popular at night. We found the prices on the high side. It doesn't serve...

"I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars. However, when the air conditioning in the room doesn’t work properly, it makes for a miserable nights sleep. They sent someone to work on it promptly but it took to 2 calls to repair it. The second night it went out again, unfortunately late into the night. Everything else was fantastic. It’s really quiet and feels safe. The beds and pillows are comfortable. If the air conditioning worked, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again."
