"There were too many flies in the buffet dining as there was no flies repellent. There were flies on some food items. Most staff went above and beyond except Cinthia behind the taco stand. I waited endlessly and she kept answering others. I prompted her but she was disinterested, I eventually left and my party was wondering why I was gone for a long time and only returned with fruits. I wondered maybe because I didn't speak Spanish. She's a poor reflection of the brand"

"Great place to stay with everything we needed for a 6 day trip. The property is well laid out with easy access to everything. It doesn’t feel like a maze like some resorts do. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Four pools, five different restaurants plus a buffet, daily entertainment, great beach, access to the next door sister resorts. What more could you ask for. Really enjoyed our time here."

"The customer service to be specific a gentleman named Diego The Butler, the hotel was very clean, delicious food 5 STAR"

"Marquis is a beautiful resort. Great options of activities and things to do. The food was fantastic! Canto Del Mar was one of the best experiences with exceptional food and staff, would definitely recommend!"

"Rm smelled really bad. The food went downhill since February lots of kids during the week which is fine because it’s a kid friendly hotel. The staff wasn’t really that nice for the money. I think there’s better hotels just my opinion."

"Nothing good to say about this property"

"Basic all-inclusive. Not over the top, food was fair and pool had some “not so desirable” elements. Not the same mystique Secrets of a decade ago. Will consider other options next time."

"Great place for families"

"Is old"

"Great place, we have come back three times now and we love the staff at the resort. Very family friendly."

"Our room and stay was perfectly suited for an r&r vacation. The private pool was the highlight, but the added service, and breakfast was also amazing. Would recommend this resort, and room to anyone."

"El hotel es fabuloso. Aislado del bullicio, las habitaciones limpias y de tamaño adecuado con vistas espectaculares, personal muy amable en todos los restaurantes. Albercas solo 2 pero suficientes y limpias. El Spa no lo conocí. Pero me quedo con una muy buena experiencia y muchas ganas de regresar"

"I am incredibly disappointed in the staffs assistance. We gave our bags to the bellhop since we had to check out early and when we needed our bags we waited for 40 minutes, asking help from the front desk, and no one to get our bags making us miss our shuttle. When asking for help from the concierge she says “I don’t know what to tell you. You should have been at your bags earlier.” Incredible disappointing and what a sour note to leave our trip on. For that I will not be back nor will I be...
