Beautiful property with private courtyards for relaxing. This property had the New Orleans "feel" I was hoping for. Our butlers were wonderful, especially Maria. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. The only negative was the bar down the street that was loud and woke us up at 3:00 a.m., but this was not under the control of The Cottages. I would definitely stay here again.

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and, overall, we enjoyed our short stay. However, although we had arranged a late check-in, it took a long time for someone to answer the door, and no one answered the phone (which was worrisome). I did not like the breakfast casserole, which was the only option.

I had multiple friends stay at multiple places during my trip to New Orleans last week, but all of them were impressed when they stopped by Melrose Mansion. Absolutely beautiful, great location, and one of the best included breakfasts I have had. I definitely want to go back there.

Clean, quiet rooms with everything you'd need to indulge in the city and surroundings of New Orleans. Everything is easily walkable - the French Quarter, Garden District, more - or, at minimum, a quick, and cheap, cab ride. Heck, we even rode a PediCab back to the hotel one night. Fun stuff!!

The W is located on a quiet side street footsteps away from the action and miles away from home. Perfect for a vacation to NOLA. The hotel is very nice. The courtyard is a delightful peaceful surprise in a city that never sleeps. Heated pool and groovy lounge chairs make taking a break easy. Joseph, Nicole, Debbie and the entire staff go out of their way to accommodate. Very friendly. Very professional. We stayed a week and enjoyed the reprieve this mordern hotel offered. The Sobo restaurant...

Our stay was great...quiet area but close to everything..riverfront, French quarter, museums and restaurants. Comfy bed and pillows and very affordable rates.
