"We loved our stay here. The staff was so kind, and allowed us to check in early since we arrived 4 hours before usual check-in time. The hotel is very spacious and rooms were so quiet. Could not hear neighbors at all. Breakfast, while not included in room cost, had a good variety and it was nice to not have to go searching for a good cup of coffee and food around town first thing in the morning. The location was perfect for our trips to Bellagio and Como. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a wonderful stay with a room overlooking the lake and a nice balcony. The location can’t be beat and the shuttle service a huge plus. Lots of great restaurants nearby and we had pizza and salads on our last night at one of the hotel restaurants- really enjoyable."

"A wonderful, peaceful place to stay in a small village in the hills above Varenna near Castello di Vezio. Proprietor Rita and her staff make you feel very welcome. Had an excellent dinner at the little on-site restaurant run by Rita's daughter. A 20 min walk downhill on a shaded stone path takes you into Varenna; it's a steep walk back uphill or a taxi ride. Some may find this inconvenient but we liked being able to get away from the crowds in Varenna when we were done touring for the day."

"A beautiful and quiet villa nestled at the edge of Mandello de Lario. We stayed in a suite, away from the main villa, with a private garden and a lake view. We also had a pontoon and small beach outside our suite allowing us to swim undisturbed in Lake Como, We loved how secluded and quiet the resort felt, as if it were own.
