"Pet-friendly"

"This could be a nice quiet motel if they cleaned it up,having mouse traps and ant traps in the room along with no garbage can ,sheets for curtains and no drinking cups didn’t sit well. The bed had 2 flat pillows and had to drive out for coffee. The only nice thing was the bed was clean at least."

"Room was old . Bathroom door handle broken. Paint coming off the walls in bathroom. No toilet paper dispenser. Sheets were old and yellow one of the sheets were stained. Door at the end of hallway kept slamming all night. Towels were stained and ripped. No telephone in room and television was a problem to work. Beds are short and hard to get in and out of."

"The "apartment" is an extension on a house with its own convenient private entrance. We arrived late at night and the seemingly complicated self-check in directions we received turned out to be very simple. It was also very easy to find a variety of dining options nearby in town.We did not use the pool, but the interior "apartment" was lovely. "The cottage was contemporary and cozy, immaculate and extremely well equipped. The kitchen was so well appointed that had we not been gathering elsewhere for family lunches/dinners over the holiday week, I would have really enjoyed cooking/baking in it. "The house was spotlessly clean kitchen was well supplied with dishes pots & pans if cooking is needed. Bathrooms were very clean. My only comment is that the kitchen and living lights should have dimmer switches has the lightning was very bright . We would definitely stay again the next time we visit Putnam Valley"

"The pics don’t do this place justice. Much much larger than anticipated. Plenty of room for family. Was a bit cold so we couldn’t enjoy the lake fully but the view itself is breathtaking. All the rooms were clean, amply sized too. Living room, kitchen, bathrooms, all were wonderful. Our host, Sunil, is a pleasure to work with. Responsive, amendable, met all our needs. Would definitely come back here during the summer months to fully enjoy the lake."
