"We were moved to another hotel which house refugee's & other’s that had two 24 hr security guards. Why? So really felt unsafe. We had two gentlemen follow us in a car? Why? This should not be allowed, we should of been told & words cannot express the frighteningly terrible experience."

"Check-in was complicated as e-mail warning of the £50 up-front deposit and need for photo ID was sent to junk mail. Parking is advertised as included in the price, when it’s available on a first come, first served basis and there are only TWO spaces! Bed was not comfortable, only 1 pillow and that felt like resting your head on a patio slab!! On the plus side it was exceptionally cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. "

"The most appalling hotel we have stayed at. Absolutely disgusting. Not cleaned properly. kitchen tap sprays out towards you. No hot water. All 5 of us couldn't shower. Daughter went in warm shower for it to turn freezing. Non smoking rooms but stank of cigarettes. Nobody to contact to get the boiler issue sorted. "Terrible, smelling and not neat "

"This hotel was booked for two key workers . On arrival the hotel demanded £100.00 per room - totalling £200.00, despite the website stating one deposit They also demanded ID from all guests, these could not be given as neither worker had such in their possession, the hotel refused entry and also refused to refund monies paid for booking. we book on average for workers 35 rooms per month and never have we received such diabolical service , Britannia hotels WILL NEVER be used again."
