"Breakfast Ok , Meal we had at the Pub and Grill Terrible , Winter Special Menu , Dumplings Rock Hard Yorkshire Pudding more Like a Crispy Pancake , No Moisture in the Chicken , Don't Expect it to be Fresh Fresh but Think when they said Winter Special it was Cooked Last Year and then Defrosted to Order. Staff Really Good. Gym Good Housekeeping must be Understaffed, you could write your Name in the Dust on the Skirting Boards in Our Room , Deep Clean Required Throughout the Hotel. I do not Blame the Housekeeping Staff themselves, this Will be Driven from the Top"

"It was room 206 . There was blood on the bed sheets underneath the pillows. No soap on the basin to wash . Unable to get coffee before nine am please log a complaint and want the refund as urgent please "

"The gym, pool are good. The rooms are ok but the bed was not the most comfortable. Good area, short walk across the bridge to bars restaurants etc. "

"We always have an amazing stay at the Marriot Gateshead. Everything is so close to where we need to be. Staff are amazing and the grandchildren love swimming in the pool every day. Would highly recommend the hotel for anyone looking to stay "
