"I can’t believe it is 5 stars hotel. I have the plan that I wanna propose to my girlfriend. We booked the hotel the reason is they have the dinner reservation on the beach. We also booked it via email and reservation flowers and decoration setting. When we arrived to hotel that we checked it is available of the dinner they said yes it’s already prepared. When the dinner time we went to the restaurant. They said Sorry we forgot it to prepare............ i sent the email to hotel, but no one reply...

The hotel is located in the old town next to all the attractions. The location is great, the hotel is very nice and clean. The breakfast is amazing and the rooftop bar is spectacular. The stuff is very friendly and helpful, Lan speaks good English and always ready to help, she scheduled a 3 days trip for us from A to Z, thank you Lan. I am highly recommend the hotel, the room is clean and comfortable, they are not big but give you everything you need. Shower are great.

This is the best hotel in Hanoi. Location is excellent. Our room was so quiet we did not hear any of the street noise. Everything was immaculately clean. The staff were so lovely, especially Daria at the front desk - so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was 10/10, so many options at the buffet plus an additional a la cart menu that was all included - eggs made to order, vegetarian bun cha, many Vietnamese options as well as western. Highly recommend!

If you want the true experience of Hoi An, this is the place! Uniquely and intentionally built just 2 years ago with no fancy chandeliers, or marble floors, but a minimalists’ dream! In the middle of the rice fields with geese and water buffaloes and no TV’s! Peaceful, except at night, you can hear some bass from music/karaoke from the city. Meritel Hanoi is a beautiful hotel, with top notch service. However, the air conditioning kept going out in our room though the staff was quick to get it up and running again every time it went out. We also experienced ants in our sink, but again the staff was very prompt in getting it fixed. The Meritel advertises that it has soundproofed rooms, but this is not the case.
