The property seemed very new. Clean, bright, comfortable with nice extras— a free pass to the fitness center just a few yards away, free laundry services. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. When we ordered a birthday breakfast for the room, the staff cam up singing ‘Happy Birthday’ with a piece of cake , candles and ice Cream. Ludi at the front desk was especially helpful. The food at the restaurant/room service was very very good.

Our hosts were very welcoming and they tended to our every need. My wife even got to play with their kittens! Very nice place and great conversations and breakfast!

Jessica and I stayed with David and Tatiana and could not have been more impressed or pleased with our stay. The B&B is incredibly clean, wifi was free, and breakfast was amazing. David and Tatiana are excellent hosts, we felt welcome to sit around and chat or free to keep to ourselves. We opt'd to chat and had a great night and breakfast with good conversation. Dave and Shami are wonderful hosts at this bed and breakfast in a quiet neighborhood in the hills above Rotorua. Delicious breakfast too!

Lovely clean room, large bathroom, very comfy beds, just lovely. The hosts were very nice people, Maria lovely lady. Breakfast was excellent! Highly recommend to stay and certainly will go back!

The woman at the front desk (Sharon) was the nicest person I have ever spoken to in my life. I called the day before my check-in as I was planning to arrive later than when the front desk was open (they close at 9pm) and she was so pleasant and sweet on the phone. She gave me detailed instructions on how to get what I needed upon arrival to get into my room and where to park on the premises. Very clean and beautiful rooms. Also beautiful restaurant, fantastic when I paid for add-on breakfast - best breakfasts of whole NZ trip. They do not provide clean bed sheets daily fyi. We had a 1 BR apt on the ground floor next to the road. With the BR in the rear traffic noise was not a problem for sleeping. There is a great view of Lake Taupo across the road and watching the sunsets was great. The management was excellent and had lots of suggestions on what to do and where to eat and shop. Free laundry was a plus and managemnet even moved our laundry from washer to dryer when we were a little late getting back. Would definitely stay here again. Dining and shopping nearby...

Great experience. Property is older than I expected but clean and we'll maintained. Staff helpful and courteous. No elevator so plan on hooking your bags up a flight of stairs if u are on 2nd level. Recommended.
