"The house overall was clean and in good order. The host made contact with me even before we arrived to pass on needed information so that our check in was easy. Our host responded within minutes when we requested a code for members of our group that arrived late.The house was well stocked and we had most everything that was needed for our group. The amenities included at the home provided a large number of options to keep everyone engaged and entertained. Would definitely recommend and would stay again given the opportunity."

"Our stay was wonderful! Very quiet spot on the water. Very serene! The home was lovely and had all the little touches! We didn’t get the kayaks on the water, but it was nice knowing they were made available to the guests. Dana provided for our needs and then some! It was nice having a Food Lion close by. We drove the distance to Duck and to Wanchese every day for fishing and restaurants. Did some cooking at the home too with the equipment provided at the property for seafood. Highly recommend."

"House was clean and beautiful. Plenty of room for all the families in their own king master suites, and bunks for children. We loved the proximity to all sorts of water activities and the quick shuttle access to the beach. The pool and hot tub were great, but actually we found the community pool to be the big hang out spot. There was usually no one else there but us and plenty of room. Easy biking access to the trails and beach. Check-in and Check-out was very easy. Parking was manageable even with a lot of cars. The kitchen worked great, and three refrigerators made for plenty of space. We would absolutely rent from here again."

"The property is a lovely, quiet destination where you can relax and enjoy beautiful scenery. This is a a nature-lover’s delight as you can marvel at waterfront sunrise/sunsets, bird watch, fish, and cruise around on your kayaks (and that’s just at the property — Kitty Hawk beach is an easy 30 ride away). The renovations throughout and ample room sizes makes this an excellent choice for families. My husband and I plan to buy a set of those Turkish Cotton towels! They were an added bonus after a nice shower!! Highly recommended!! We would visit again."

"Overall, the place was very nice. The bunkbed mattresses seem worn and uncomfortable. We found a pair of shorts and underwear behind one of the beds.Also found a container of some type of balm I underneath one of the dressers. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots pans utensil, silverware glasses for a large group. the pool was very nice. The hot tub was very nice.Had an issue with garbage cans being full upon our arrival but a call to the realtor resolved the matter. The location of the property was a little further from the beach than I expected, but as most persons in this housing plan, we were able to drive all of our beach supplies down to the boardwalk and unload the car."
