"House was clean and nice. Definitely need new mattress in the upstairs bedroom. It was like sleeping on an army cot! The only problem we had was that it is 45- to an hr from the Outer Banks. It was kinda misleading making you think you were near the beach.We had beautiful sunrises every morning and it was great being right on the water.The fire alarm went off at 6 am and we could not get it to go off. I contacted the host and they finally called me back and said it would be 9 am before they could get there!!! We hurried and packed our stuff and left. It was so loud. If they would have given me a code over the phone or something to shut it off. But they didn’t. It was so loud we had to leave at 6:35 am this morning."

"Perfect side house for a large family group! The pool and hot tub were wonderful.A lot of great security features for young children and pool safety. Very responsive to messaging. A little far to the beach for us. About 10 min walk but that was advertised so we were aware. Otherwise perfect place. "

"What a great place for our maiden voyage to the Outer Banks! The house was so spacious, bedrooms, and bathrooms for everyone and then some. We did a lot of cooking because my daughter has a food allergy, kitchen was easy to work in and well appointed. The house is just a two minute walk to a great beach, but the pool was the big hit for the kids. We don’t have a pool when my kids are water babies, so that was pretty incredible. Pool was well appointed to with multiple Floaties and toys. And so many nice touches from the owner, little notes and special things left for us. We had a few questions here and there about the house, and Joanne was amazingly responsive. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next year! Oh, and our expedition to see the famous horses of Corolla was absolutely amazing!"
