"You won't get a better location for a stay in York. Overlooks York Minster and is on the very edge of York City centre. The accommodation itself is very York, with plenty of room and exceptional value for money. I've stayed at a few places in York, including The Grand and when I return I'll be coming back here. "

"The place itself was lovely a little dated in the bedrooms but so clean, short walk to the shambles, food at the hotel was fantastic excellent price, can recommend the Eggs Benedict for breakfast, outside lovely seating area right by the river and last but not least staff are so welcoming very attentive 5 star service will be going back again "
