"Property in mid renovation, very outdated, halls were loud each night, tough to get hot water. "

"We were checked into a room that had not been cleaned yet. Not the end of the world but not a great start either."

"The home was beautiful and very fun to explore. We enjoyed shopping in Glen Ellyn and Lombard and the train was very close for our trip to the city. The welcome treats left by the host were a nice surprise and enjoyed by all in our group."

"I had a clean and pleasant room to stay in while recuperating from a medical procedure. The desk clerk was pleasant and provided a very nice little welcome bag with a water bottle, cookies and small bag of chips. Nice, unexpected little touch. The hotel interior was clean and well maintained. The hotel exterior could use a little TLC. Some decent lawn care and landscaping would help a bit as the exterior looked a bit worn and tired. But, overall the interior was much better and, again, the room was clean and comfortable. And, the breakfast was decent. No complaints. I happened to get a very good price for the room so, overall, it was a very good stay and I'd definitely stop back again for a night or two of accomodations."

"Clean, good layout, convenient location"

"The stay was great until it rained. The vent in the bathroom leaked a significant amount to catch in a bucket. The owners were good about communicating through the situation, but the leak was very inconvenient for 12 hours, because it was right in front of the ONLY toilet in the house. This issue continued until it stopped raining. There were no extra towels to use to clean up the mess or catch the splashes. So our feet (and our pants or legs) were wet when using the toilet until the managers "allowed us" to use the hidden towels, hours later. Unfortunately, the owners/managers did not compensate us for our inconvenience. They only thank us for cleaning up their issue while it rained. :("
